A single number, out of 100, for how ready your home is to sell. It starts with what the public record already says about your home, the EPC, the Land Registry entry, flood and listing data, and rises as you answer the property questions and add the documents a buyer’s solicitor will ask for. Every answer and every document moves it, and the dashboard always shows the one thing that moves it most next.
Move Ready is the point at which your pack has every required document in and enough of the questions answered that a conveyancer can work from it. Before you share it, we ask you to read it through and confirm it is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. That is the same standard as signing the property information form, and it is what makes the pack worth something to the people who receive it. If you change an answer or a document afterwards, we ask you to confirm again.
Nobody, until you press send. You choose who receives it: an estate agent, your conveyancer, or anyone with a link to your public MoveScore page, which shows the score and the public-record facts and never an answer, a document or a price. Agents receive the listing information they need and never your hoped-for price. Conveyancers receive the full pack through a live link that expires. You can see who has it and when they opened it.
The pack is yours, not your agent’s. If you move to a different agent, your record moves with you and the new agent gets the same pack the old one had. When you complete, the pack becomes the record of the home for whoever owns it next, so the work is never done twice.
Finding out what the public record says about your home, answering the questions and adding your documents costs nothing. Where an official document has a fee set by someone else, such as an official copy of your title from HM Land Registry, we tell you the price before you order it and pass it on at cost. We do not sell your details and nobody pays to be put in front of you.
